I’ve put off my input for too long now. Shock does that to one I guess. Where does one start. There was just so much to Tim. The stories maybe. We’ve all had Good Tim stories. The thing that baffled me for many years was, which ones were true and which became “stories turned real” to Tim.
I’m embarrassed to say that in the beginning of our friendship I was a bit frustrated with trying to figure them out. As time softened out the question marks it no longer became important to know. It was then that I began to really enjoy the deepness of Tim’s magic. Simplicity. Not that he couldn’t go off on bizarre tangents, he could regularly. All, however, were based in the innocent, simple and pure outlook of a child not yet ruined by the rigors of work and life. Reality, levity and fantasy all blended to become another moment to be enjoyed.
Tim you may have physically left us for now but you will never be gone. Those moments live on through me and will be passed down to my children to live on.
I will miss you my old friend. Till we meet again.
PS Just a thought. I don’t think God is going to go for Bud Crawley as the new Chairman of the Board in Heaven. |
